Marumo Gallants FC star Thapelo Dhludhlu has been found and reunited with his family in Witbank after a traumatic week. He was kidnapped and his family received a ransom demand of R50 000.

Dhludhlu went missing last week after being given the weekend off by his club. He was last seen in Mpumalanga the weekend before.
His mother, Doris Dhludhlu, confirmed that her son has returned home. However, he was quickly taken away by police.

The incident occurred while Marumo Gallants FC is preparing for the new season, currently standing 14th in the Premier Soccer League with 25 points from 30 games, and 44 points behind leaders Orlando Pirates.
Gallants spokesperson Sello Nduna also confirmed that Dhludhlu was last seen at the club the Friday before.
What comes next for Thapelo Dhludhlu?
The player had also failed to report back to work as the Bloemfontein-based outfit continued with their pre-season training at the Tshwane University of Technology.
As of now, Marumo Gallants FC has scored 21 goals and conceded 38, with a goal difference of -17, and the team is looking to improve their performance in the upcoming season.
