Loan Situation and Playing Time
Fiacre Ntwari, the 26-year-old Rwanda international, has been on loan at Kruger United from Kaizer Chiefs since the start of the season. Despite being signed to add veteran presence in goal, he has yet to feature in any matches for the Mpumalanga-based club. Souke Dandijou remains the first-choice goalkeeper, with Ntwari serving as his deputy. The loan agreement extends until the end of the current campaign.
Work Permit Delays and Match Availability
Ntwari was unable to participate in the recent match against Amakhosi due to unresolved work permit issues. However, he was listed as an unused substitute in games against Marumo Gallants FC and Milford FC. Kruger United sporting director Elasto Kapowezha confirmed that Ntwari has been registered with the team and considered for selection in the last two matches after obtaining his work permit.
Tactical Decisions and Squad Dynamics
Kapowezha emphasized that Ntwari's limited playing time is a result of the technical staff's tactical choices. 'He has been serving as a deputy to Dandijou. The technical team can select him whenever they determine it necessary,' the director stated. While Ntwari is part of the squad, his opportunities depend on the coaching staff's strategy, with Dandijou currently securing the starting role.
